SummerSTEM Program

SummerSTEM is a one-week course designed to provide students the opportunity to experience hands-on science in a biotechnology laboratory.

Held in the state-of-the-art teaching lab at the Academy, the forensic-themed curriculum immerses students, ages 14-18, in an authentic laboratory investigation. Throughout the week, students use cutting-edge biotechnology equipment, the scientific method, and critical thinking to analyze DNA and identify different species of white fish.
